International Conference of Military Science will be held at Military University of Technology in Warsaw, Poland. It is organized by the Military Training Department with the participation of the Faculty of Security, Logistics and Management; the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy and the Faculty of Mechatronics, Armaments and Aviation.

The purpose of the conference is to create a forum for exchange of information and experiences among cadets, future officers and students. ICOMS seeks to provide an opportunity to further foster knowledge transfer and help to gain useful skills for participants from Poland and abroad. Different perspectives and reflections on challenges of modern militaries serve to optimize the development of future leaders, preparing them to tackle constantly evolving civilian and military environment.

We extend our invitation to both BA & MA military and civilian students to take part in the conference. The teachers are invited to join the event as members of scientific committees.

Additionally, there will be cultural and social events to promote Polish culture and to encourage participants to exchange their experiences.

Deadline for registration and submission of topics for presentations and abstracts for the conference is 3rd of February 2025.

Transportation

Participants are requested to make their own travel arrangements to and from Warsaw. However MUT will provide free transportation from and to Warsaw Chopin Airport or Warsaw Rail Station on Monday and Friday. Participants are requested to send the information about their travel arrangements by 16th of February 2025.

The organizer will also provide transportation for the planned activities according to the agenda of the event.

Accommodation and meals

Accommodation for cadets in the period 03-07.03.2025 is provided free of charge on first come first served basis. They will be accommodated within the Academy’s premises. Accordingly meals will be also provided to cadets free of charge at one of the military mess-halls.

  1. „Military Mechatronic Systems” Development of missile, armament, and aerospace technology. Automation, robotization, and autonomation of military systems. Development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAV, UAS, drones). Application of Artificial Intelligence in military mechatronic systems.
  2. Modern technologies in military logistics systems.
  3. Development trends in supporting Armed Forces.
  4. Geospatial and meteorological support: the usage of geographic information systems (GIS) mainly in military applications, Technology of production and obtaining geospatial data (both vector and image data), Military terrain analysis and modelling cross country movement, Using alternative (e.g., Open Source) geospatial data sources to Arm Forces support, Meteorological support of Air Force (synoptic meteorology, meteorological data etc.).
